16 And at that time they were holding a notorious prisoner being called Jesus[a] Barabbas. 17 So they[b] having been gathered together, Pilate said to them, “Whom do you want me to release for you? Jesus Barabbas, or Jesus, the One being called Christ?” 18 For he knew that they[c] handed Him over because of envy.
